How fast can I get an inspection before my final?
Send your final inspection date, job address and project scope so we can confirm the next available appointment and what needs to be ready. Allow time for testing, any corrections and documentation before your final. Availability varies by location, project scope and route; advance scheduling is recommended. How long does the test take?
Usually 30 minutes to 2 hours on site, depending on the system and how many tests apply. We stay until it's done properly.
What happens if a test fails?
A failed test is a measurement showing that the system did not meet the applicable test criteria; it is not a violation notice issued by Permit Boost. We explain the readings and what needs attention. Your contractor makes the correction, then we return to retest and document the result. Final approval remains with the building department.
Do you work with my inspector's requirements?
Yes. Send us the approved plans, compliance forms and any inspector notes or correction notice. We review the required field verification and coordinate the applicable rater documentation for your project. The building department makes the final approval decision.
Do I need a permit number to book?
You can start scheduling with the job address, project type and preferred date. A permit number or CHEERS ID is not needed to request a quote. We confirm which permit and compliance details are needed to perform the verification and complete the final documentation, and collect those before that step.
Do you handle the registry documentation?
Yes. We complete the applicable rater documentation and registry steps required for the field verification work we perform.
